The new Toyota Aygo X has been revealed but not is all as it seems. The new Toyota Aygo X Facelift is now a mild hybrid.

This is also more of an update. The new Toyota Aygo X Facelift gains an all new bonnet, wings, grille and front bumper as well as a redesigned floor as the new Aygo X gains the running gear from the bigger Yaris Hybrid. Sadly this does mean that there is no manual option anymore which is a big shame and something its rivals like the Kia Picanto and Hyundai i10 offer.

With substantially more power than before the new Toyota Aygo X Facelift will become Brittan's lowest polluting car with emissions of just 86g/km of Co2. There is even a sportier GR Sport model too. The Aygo X will only come with 1 powertrain. This is the Hybrid 115 engine which has 114 bhp and 144 Nm of torque. This is an increase over the current 1 litre with 71 bhp. 0-62 is also much quicker at around 10 seconds, a full 4.9 seconds quicker over the outgoing model.

Up front of the Aygo X we get a new set of slimmer headlights inspired by Toyota's latest design trend. We also get a more noticeable grill with some cool pattern in it. Round the back there isnt any changes to report of but we do get some new colour and wheel options.

Inside we do get some updates which include an all new infotainment system which also includes Toyota's air quality software. We also get a new 7 inch digital instrument cluster as well as an electronic parking brake and electric folding mirrors.

Prices are expected to rise from the £16,000 to around £19,000 because of the hybrid technology and design differences.
