The new Kia Stonic Facelift has been revealed with a bigger facelift than we had thought we would see.

Released back in 2017 the Kia Stonic is one of Kia's oldest cars in its lineup but looking at the new Facelift you wouldnt think so. With Kia's new design language we get a new set of headlights with the 'Star Map' LED Daytime Running Lights. We also get a completely different bumper design than before as well as a different wheel design to the side. Round the back and the big changes continue with a new set of taillights with a complete different shape than before as well as a new boot design which i think suits this car much better. What is interesting though is that the new Kia Stonic Facelift is actually 15mm longer than before although it is based on the same car from 2017.

Inside the new Stonic and the big changes continue. We get a dual 12.3 inch infotainment system setup from the latest Kia's as well as all new dashboard designs and seat materials as well as new air vents too. We even get the latest Kia steering wheel and the climate control switches from the Sportage.

For the engine range of the new Stonic there is 2 1.0 Litre petrol engine's available. the first one get 99 bhp and a 0-62 time of 11 seconds for the 6 speed Manual or 12.1 seconds for the Automatic. You can also get a Mild Hybrid version with 113 bhp and a 0-62 time of 10.7 seconds either with a 6 Speed Manual or an Automatic.

Finally Kia has also updated the safety technology in the Stonic to include blind spot collision avoidance systems, forward collision avoidance systems, navigation based cruise control and lane following assist. All of this will help the Euro NCAP crash test considering the old Stonic that was tested in 2017 has expired.

The pricing hasn't been announced for the UK yet but we expect it to be about the £23,000 mark to undercut the Volkswagen T-Cross and Nissan Juke as well as the Vauxhall Mokka and even the Ford Puma.
