This is the new Citroen e-C3

This is the new Citroen e-C3. Based on a new 'Smart Car Platform' and is going to be priced 'under £23,000' what's not to love with this French Supermini. Its features keep getting better too with up to 199 miles of range and a 110 bhp electric motor powering the front wheels. The new Citroen e-C3 has bags of charm too with its new unique Citroen styling with its boxy but modern looking headlights and the new Citroen Logo. It is more off-roader than before and it is slightly higher than before too.

Moving inside the new Citroen e-C3 and we get a whole new design that has not been seen in any Stellantis car before. Gone has the analogue instrument cluster and in its place is a heads up display that is projected on a gloss black piece in the dashboard to keep costs low. This gives an effect of an expensive Digital Instrument cluster but it also harks back to Citroens of the past. Talking of Citroen's of the past we get this floating effect steering wheel that looks similer in terms of size to the Peugeot steering wheel but the 2 spoke don't connect to the airbag which is very unique. The infotainment system is also new and is not like any European Citroen or Stellantis car and this is to do with cost cutting. It is simple and cheap but works well with the usual Apple Car Play and Android Auto connections. We also get a new set of climate control switches which is always nice to see.

The new Citroen e-C3 should be on sale next year in 3 trim levels. These are called You!, Plus and Max. There will also be petrol versions with the new 1.2l Mild Hybrid engines found in the new Peugeot 208, Peugeot 2008, DS3 Facelift and Vauxhall Corsa Facelift. These should be price around £17,000. A real bargin.
