Genisis is starting 2025 off with an update to the Genesis GV60 updating its looks and technology.
To start with Genesis has given the GV60 a sportier look by changing the sills and wheel arches to body colour from the pre facelift's grey colour. We also get a redesigned front bumper featuring more pronounced air vents and a slimmer front grill. Genesis split headlights now incorporate 'Micro Lens Array' technology from the luxurious G90 saloon. There is also a new 21 inch 5 spoke alloy wheel design. There isn't any changes round the back however.
Inside Genesis has swapped the par of 12.3 inch screens with a single 27 inch panel with new software and we also get a new and improved as well as sportier 3 spoke steering wheel. Sadly we do still get the unconventional crystal ball selector though.
Genesis hasn't told us of any technical changes but if the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq5 have anything to go by the battery would be replaced by a new 84 kWh battery pack from the old 77.4 kWh pack. This could increase the range from 321 miles nearer to 360 miles.
We should find out more when the specifications are released in the coming months for the UK market however the brand hasn't announced when it will start making orders for the car yet.
What we do know is that there will be a hot Magma version which will likely use the 641 bhp motor from the Kia EV6 GT and Hyundai Ioniq 5N although Genesis say that it wont be entirely like those cars.
