Yes you did read that right. The new Bentayga Speed now has the new Ultra Performance Hybrid V8 powertrain with a 4.0 litre twin turbo V8. Unlike the Continental and Flying Supr though, this one cannot be plugged in so the power is slightly less at 671 bhp compared to 771 bhp. That is still more though than the previous 626 bhp though. 0-62 is also quicker at 3.4 seconds and the top speed has also been increased to 193 mph.

Other features over the regular model and outgoing Speed is a new ESC Dynamic launch function and a recalibrated sport mode. You can still opt for carbon ceramic brakes which are a must on a 2.5 tonne super car. Adding this option would also give you the optional 23 inch wheels whilst the standard steel brakes sit on 22 inch wheels. To finish the styling off you get a black roof either in gloss or matt and you also get a rear spoiler as well as dark tinted exterior trim.

Inside it is business as usual with loads of diamond quilted stitching and chrome. The Bentayga speed does get a unique drivers' display with extra information on the performance of the car. There is also a lot of Speed badging and an option of green accents to make it stand out more.

Pricing has not been announced yet but it will most likely cost more than the old W12 model it replaces possibly sitting over the £250,000 price tag.
