This is the new 2025 BMW 1 Series

This is the new 2025 BMW 1 Series. Truthfully it is a facelift of the old model but BMW have classed this 'facelift' as a new generation. So Whats new then.

Well the front end gets an all new more rounded shape than before. We get some rounded headlights that have 2 lines in for the Daytime Running Light. the Grill is smaller than before too and suits this car much better. the Lowe centre air vent it also different as to is the side vents.

The side profile has also changed slightly, not in terms of physical body but on the trim front. The Hofmeister Kink now has been reshaped to include the 1 motif. We also get some new colour and wheel options too.

Round the Back and there are even more changes. We get a set of taillights that are inspired by the BMW X2 which make the new 1 look sportier and sleeker and less premium than before but i am on board with this. We get a redesigned bumper which again looks sporty and this is the first BMW to discontinue the 'i' engine designation. For example the M135i is now just M135. A bit different but that's something we will get used to.

As for the engine front all of the diesel engines have been discontinued like the new BMW 3 Series Update. The new base point is the 120 model. This has a new 1.5 litre Turbo engine with Mild Hybrid technology producing 168 bhp. This is also available with a 7 Speed dual clutch as standard as there is no more manual option. The next and final engine is the M135 model. this has been reduced in power from 302 bhp to 296 bhp but BMW claim it has "significantly enhanced performance characteristics". We also get quad exhausts on that model too.

So inside is where the big changes lie. The interior has had a complete redesign with the new BMW iDrive OS9 installed and a 20 inch panoramic dual glass screen setup from the X1. the Centre console has also lost the iDrive controller and has had a redesign as there is now no manual gearbox. The steering wheel and switches are also new too. As to are the seats and materials. Overall then, quite a big update.

The 2025 1 Series is hopefully going to be launched hopefully for October this year so you haven't got long to wait. The pricing is expected to start at around £30,000 as the base SE model has been dropped.

So, what do you think to the new BMW 1 Series. Let me know in the comment section on the YouTube video.
