The new 2024 Vauxhall Grandland Electric has been spied for the first time

The 2024 Vauxhall Grandland has been spied for the first time. From these sets of pictures we can tell that the Vauxhall Experimental Concept has been used for inspiration with the new design of the Vauxhall Visor hidden underneath the camouflage.

Moving round to the back and we can just about make out a light bar like the Concept.

Being based on the STLA Medium platform it will share most of its equipment with the new Peugeot E-3008 apart from the style as this has a more conventional shape. What it will share though is the Battery and motor options. this means we can expect a battery range of 73 to 98 kWh and a motor range of 201 to 227 bhp. Most models will be front wheel drive but expect a hot GSe Variant with 4 wheel drive and 315 bhp.

Moving to an all electric platform has increased the amount of rivals for the new Grandland including the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Tesla Model Y, Volkswagen ID4, Skoda Enyaq as well as other main rivals like the Volkswagen Tiguan, Peugeot 3008, Kia Sportage and Hyundai Tucson.

Expect the new Vauxhall Grandland to be revealed early 2024 and with a starting price about £35,000 for a plug in hybrid model or £45,000 for the electric model. Yes Vauxhall are still going to offer a Plug in Hybrid model.
