2024 Vauxhall Grandland replacement going all electric

Vauxhall have recently announced that the next generation Grandland will be all electric. The Grandland replacement will sit on the STLA medium platform exactly like the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 replacements. What this means is that it can have battery sizes up to 104 kWh and it could have up to 435 miles of range. Performance GSe versions could even get up to 443 bhp. But it will most likely use motors ranging between 168 bhp and 241 bhp. This will be the first Vauxhall to use the STLA platform and it will come out towards the end of 2024. With this information it is clearer how the future Vauxhall line up will look like. The upcoming Manta is likely going to be a Grandland Coupe, and the Insignia will sit in between the Grandland and Manta as a hatch SUV saloon estate thing like the Citroen C5X and the Peugeot 408.
